Who We Are
Rita Ryan, founder of RRITS, is a Tax Attorney with more than 18 years of experience advising clients on cross-border business taxation, structuring international investments, multi-jurisdictional estate planning, and the United States compliance requirements related to these activities and investments. In addition to the above, Rita also works with other tax professionals as a trusted advisor to identify necessary international reporting, advise on filings, or review work papers and forms to ensure accuracy in this evolving international compliance landscape.
Prior to founding RRITS, Rita was the CFO and Head of Private Client Services at M+, where she focused on tax, business, and wealth preservation planning for high-net-worth business owners and their families. Rita also launched and led Wolf & Co.’s International Tax Services Practice, where she focused on tax planning and compliance for international holdings of both entities and individuals. Prior to joining Wolf, Rita was in private practice as an Associate Attorney at the law firm of Vacovec, Mayotte & Singer, LLP, where she focused on international and domestic taxation, estate planning, and tax controversy.
Rita is an Adjunct Professor at the Graduate Tax Program at Boston University School of Law where she co-founded and co-teaches “Foreign Information Reporting and Withholding.” She also teaches various other international tax topics for Tax Practice Pros, LumiQ, and the National Association of Enrolled Agents.
